Experience nature and enhance wellbeing
I’m a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide who leads Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) walks in the Chesapeake Bay region. I help open the door to a deeper connection with nature and the beauty of the outdoors. Whether you seek a healing experience, a stronger relationship with nature, or just a break from the hectic pace of the daily grind, I invite you to experience a guided walk in the green spaces of the Chesapeake Bay region in a new way.

Walk Stories
Participant Testimonials and Experiences
Everett is a gifted speaker, leader, and guide! Many of my staff have mentioned to me how much they truly enjoyed his portion of our meeting day. They really carry a lot of work stress and needed some relaxation, as well as some thought provoking material on how to improve their overall stress management for their wellness.
B.L., Director – State Government Agency
As a confirmed "nature lover" this was a unique and very fulfilling way to enjoy and appreciate and experience nature in a way I had not done before. I felt significantly more calm and more introspective. It was a wonderful way to re-invigorate your connection to the natural world and your place in it.
K.U., Leadership Coach, Reston VA
I wasn’t sure what the walk would actually be like, and I was amazed at how rewarding the experience was for me. Everett’s guiding style was so calming, affirming and supportive. The slow pace really let me pay attention to what was going on, both with the beauty of the trail and my own thoughts. This is a great practice for individuals or groups. And it was a big hit on my Facebook page!

The forest bathing experience was incredibly enriching. Not only was it great in simply slowing down the busy-ness of life, it was also extremely rewarding and enlightening. Meditation doesn’t have to be sitting crossed-legged in the corner of a dim room in total silence. It can be done while slowly strolling through a forest path.
